I am testing out the 3-Day Advance Cleanse offered by a local Juice Bar here in Virginia Beach, JuiceBar 8020.  I’m not sure how this is going to feel.  Will I be hungry?  Will I feel too weak for my Hot Yoga practice?  Will I feel amazing?!  Will have have more energy and focus?  Will I be tired?

The description on the beautiful postcard from JuiceBar 8020  reads…

“Our most intense and lowest calorie cleanse, the Advance Cleanse is ideal for those looking for maximum results in the shortest possible time.  This is best for experienced cleansers and those that love to juice.”

(I’m not at all experienced with living on liquid food.  I have juiced and I own a fabulous Omega masticating juicer, but I’ve never lived on juice for days at a time.

As far as results go,  I’m looking for more mental clarity, more energy, better digestion and less inflammation.

I chose the Advance Cleanse not because I’m experienced, but because the Gentle Cleanse looks like it has way too much sugar and not enough greens in it.)

“Includes 6 drinks:  During a cleanse cycle each drink is numbered 1-6.  You drink # 1 first and # 6 last (daily) for optimal results.  We recommend drinking Alkaline Water in between each juice throughout the day.  (Complimentary Alkaline water is provided with purchase).”

(I have no idea why the juices work in the order they do.  However, it is on my radar and I will find out!  Regarding the Alkaline Water, I don’t have training or in depth knowledge on this YET.  I have experienced Kangen water which might be the same?  This is also on my radar and I will ask about it.  My experience with Kangen water was an incredible one.  I literally got a buzz off of that water!

Mayo Clinic Says:  Because alkaline water has a higher pH level than does plain tap water, proponents say that it can neutralize acid in your bloodstream, boost your metabolism and help your body absorb nutrients more effectively. Some even say that alkaline water can help prevent disease and slow the aging process.

Ok, back to the juices.

Here are the 6 bottles included in the program:

  1. Intro:  Spinach, Kale, Cucumber, Apple, Pineapple
  2. Body I:  Apple, Celery, Cucumber, Lemon, Ginger
  3. Body II:  Spinach, Kale, Cucumber, Apple, Pineapple
  4. Rising Action:  Lemon, Agave, Cayenne Pepper, Alkaline Water
  5. The Peak:  Beets, Carrot, Ginger, Pineapple
  6. Resolution:  Kale, Grapefruit, Orange, Lemon, Watermelon

I picked up my order from the store today and was pleased at how easy they made it.

I received a text telling me to pick up Day 1 and they had 2 small bags ready for me when I stopped by at my convenience.  One bag contained 6 containers of juice, and the other bag contained a gallon jug of Alkaline water.

Tomorrow I will pick up the Day 2 Supply at some point.

Cold-pressed juice is best drank quickly as soon as possible to preserve its enzymes.

You better believe I’m incorporating my oils, vitamins and herbs!  The additional Protocols I’m adding in are listed and described below.  (All are DoTerra products which I currently use some on a regular basis and some for seasonal gentle detoxing.  I’ve had many male and female clients find tremendous success with the use of these combined with a vegan diet as a gentle detox).

I know that seems like a lot but its not!  Think about ALL the food and beverages you consume.  Now that is A LOT.  These are small capsules and drops and they are so powerful and effective.  ( I know this because I’ve used the for quite some time now for maintenance of health as well as for periodic detoxification).

More coming soon!
