INGREDIENTS

1 cup water
1/2 cup raw cashews
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup nutritional yeast flakes
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons honey (choose local honey if you can. It helps with allergies.)
1 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (or you can chop up fresh onion if you’re feeling ambitious)
1 teaspoon oregano or dill (again, go for the garden if you have it)

DIRECTIONS

Step 1
Blend all ingredients (except oregano or dill) in a high-speed blender. Vitamix is the best.

Step 2
Add oregano or dill and just barely jog your blender to mix in the herbs, without blending them up.

Step 3
Serve cold on lettuce salad. Enjoy!
